I.M.A. SWALLOW - BRITAIN'S WARTIME DOODLEBUG!!!! Designed and built by International Model Aircraft Ltd (for those old, or interested, enough to remember - Latterly known as FROG) in Merton South London, this inimitable pilotless aircraft never went into production, although 22 of them were built - the design disappeared in 1944, and remained unknown until re-discovered and described in the Aircraft Annual of 1957.

The Full-Size aircraft had a span of 19 feet (5.79M) - the Model has been designed to approx 1/10th Scale, giving a Wingspan of 22.5 inches (57.15cm). Built from Balsa, with Vac-Formed Nose parts, Tail Gyro Cover, Brass Catapult Spools and Aluminum Boom and Fin Braces. - Only the Smoke Nozzle (Just visible under the Nose) has been left off the flying model, as this would be liable to damage, although the size, shape and position of it is detailed on the G.A. Drawing for those who wish to build a static model.

All-up weight of prototype (including loaded Jetex 50 unit) - 2 Ozs

Included in the pack are :- Full-Size G.A. Drawing, All parts CAD drawn for accuracy, 5 Vac-Formed parts, Aluminum Tubing for Boom and Fin Braces, 4 Brass Turnings for Catapult Spools and a brief history of the type (4 pages)
